Flamingo Paper Limited donated several paper tissue products to the Effia Nkwanta Hospital. Flamingo Paper Limited manufactures paper tissue products such as toilet rolls, kitchen and table napkins, multipurpose soap, and detergents. The company is situated in Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis WAMCO Industrial Area, Effia in the Western Region, and from its inception has been involved in donations as part of its social responsibility.
Social responsibility is important to the CEO and management of Flamingo Paper Limited. The company is poised to take the challenge to help curb inadequate sanitary and paper tissue suppliers to our various hospitals. Because of this reason, Flamingo Paper Limited on behalf of the CEO and management presented some items to the Effia Nkwanta Hospital.
The gesture is to assist in the control of the spread of Covid and other related diseases. The presentation was made by the Corporate Manager Mr. Denis Apenyo on behalf of the CEO of Flamingo Paper Limited Mr. Hisham H. Ghandour. The recipient of the item was the Western Regional Minister Hon. Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah.
The minister, therefore, showed immense gratitude to Flamingo Paper Limited for making such donations during this critical time and commend them to continue doing more for the community. He also urged other stakeholders to also come on board to help curb the spread of Covid. He therefore, advised people to continue using paper tissues as the sickness is still lurking around.
